Tommy - Everyone starts somewhere... and it's really cool that you are here! Huge handclaps on your willingness to be honest. It's not easy to do, but this is ONLY a beginning.. just think of the story that you will have on the other end!

Tommy - we're all behind you. One baby step at a time. I'm so glad you're here. Keep it up. :)

Yeah Tommy!!!!!! I would say that you must be close to the biggest loser this week! Did anyone figure it out!?!?!?!

-- Wow! Thanks guys! This helps so much seeing your words of encouragement. Craig42 (aka skinny bitch) has been great with his posts and support as well. His energy with his workouts is to be envied. The program I'm on here in town, I'm the biggest person in it as well but you know what, that's okay. This is such a great idea and so helpful. I hope to keep kicking ass and taking name. Well back to my gallon of water I have to consume daily.
Thanks again for all the support. You bunch of losers! ;-)

10 lbs down, 30 to go. A big thanks to everyone who is working with me to destroy my "big belly"... Funny how a little nudge, or twitter post, gets one motivated.

Wow, 10lb! That's awesome! I'm only 9 down as of this morning :) Would be nice to lose another 10 by the end of the challenge (or more) :)
TomRoyce said

Max, thanks... I must admit though that the 269 is nearly 15 pounds more than my previous high so it should come off quicker. Congrats on your 9.

Thanks Tom! I feel like I actually can see the light at the end of the tunnel :)LOL I would definitely like to get to 165 or even to 160lb. Then I'll be able to pretend that I'm 24 again :)haha

Did everyone bomb out? Seems really quiet on here!!!! I went up a pound today, but I am okay. Still most of the week left. Just gotta behave through the holiday!

I've been 210 for a week now...so I lost the easy 5 lbs that comes with a sudden change to my diet. From here on, it's not going to be easy. But I feel good, and the scale isn't 100% the best measure of success. I'm wearing my "skinny" jeans today, and I look pretty good. Going hiking with the kids up Camelback Mountain for Xmas eve, since Ninjitsu was cancelled. All in all, I'm elated with the first 3 weeks results, and not giving up in any way.

Ahh. The holidays are over and I am up 6 pounds. Was with family and this was not unexpected as we as a family live to eat and that suits me. But today starts the rest of my life and it is time to buckle down.

Tom - I don't think that you are alone. It only took me two days to get back to normal, but I've been sidetracked again and think that I might be in trouble tomorrow! So glad that the holidays are soon behind us. Darn celebrations - why is it always with food!?!?!!? LOL. Just gotta suck it up and move forward! Onward to our goal!

Glad to see some encouraging chat here! I thought maybe the Holidays might have killed us all! I fell off the wagon for a few days, but I'm back on program now. I suspect the next month is going to see much harassing of each other...

Down 3.5 lbs since the start of REBiggestLoser. Not stellar results so far, but better than the typical 5 lb increase over the Christmas holidays that I usually experience. So happy to be starting the new year down a couple of pounds rather than up 5+ lbs.

Blew the diet on New Year's eve/day. Back up to my starting weight. Back on track with diet/workout this morning.

Ouch Tried as hard as I could to forget about the challenge but my guilt came through. Time to get back on the diet and make someone proud... ME...

Tom - Sounds like you need to jump back on "the wagon!"..... :-)

Yep, trying to, but 2 boys who play multiple layers of hockey and do karate and church means lots of bad meals out. That is my downfall. Oh, and having lunch with friends and associates 3 times a week to save my sanity. Get rid of those and I would have never gotten to this level. Now if a mid priced restaurant could make a salad under 6000 calories and not have all way too much good stuff on it, I might be doing better. :)

Woot! Reached my weight loss goal for the RE Biggest Loser of 160 lbs. Down 9 lbs since Dec 5th.
Setting a new goal, six pack abs. Don't really care about my actual weight, since I'm lifting weights.

I'm 1 pound away from my revised target weight for the challenge. I really didn't expect to be able to shed this much weight, but dang am I excited to be down 9 lbs in 9 weeks. That's a very healthy loss, and if I can squeeze out a bonus pound in the last part of this week, all the better.

We are getting so close to that final weigh-in. I'm 1/2 pound away from my goal of 205. How is everyone else doing?

I'm down a whoppin' 3 pounds from this challenge. :-) Can't say it's good enough to win cuz some of you are rockin' it, but it still is the right direction on the scale!

I've done my final weigh-in, down 8lbs. I know it's not enough to win, but I definitely tried. Thank you all for motivating and pushing me to do more than I could have ever imagined. I've never been more prepared for a marathon before, I'm really looking forward to Feb 14th to see what I can do. Real Estate Biggest Loser was a great experience for me. You guys ROCK!

Final weigh in, down 5 lbs. No exercise, 4 birthdays, and the holidays, and I lost 5 lbs. Thanks so much, yall! Spring is around the corner, I start to add the exercise, and I'm well on my way to the next 5! Congrats to all for participating!

Final weigh in this morning 208, down 22. Very happy about that. This was extremely motivating for me so thanks again to Jay for getting it organized and to all that encouraged him to do so.

Final weigh in = 226.5 Down 13.5 pounds, belt cinched in 2 notches. More importantly, I'm eating better and working out 5+ days a week. The contest may be over, but this is a lifestyle change for me.
Don't forget, the winner isn't the one who drops the most pounds, but the one who has the biggest percentage weight loss. 5.63% loss for me.
In my book, we are ALL winners!

Congratulations to all the REBiggestLosers. I appreciate everyone's support and really had a great time. Wonder what the combined weight loss was for the contest?
Jay, thanks for organizing the REBiggest Loser contest.
Steve B, thanks for building the wiki site, this was great.
Craig, your frequent training posts were very motivating. I get a workout just reading about your training schedule.

What a bunch of LOSERS! This was a great idea, Jay, and one I decided to embrace 100%. I too made lifestyle changes, and it has really showed. All of my clothes fit loose now, and I'm down some serioius weight.

Jay, though I'm outside your network, thanks for letting me participate. I was on track for a good 10%er but dropped focus and gained a little back, dropped it, then gained a little back. Yet even with that, I'm encouraged to continue. Beginning weight was: 251.6 lbs. Ending weight: 239.2 lbs. for a loss of 12.4 lbs. or4.93%. My goal is 200 lbs. and I've just begun.
I was never able to figure out a way to add a column to the chart and never posted. Posting may have helped my motivation. I'd be interested, for those who want to continue, to see a new chart with weekly posting and a column to enter days exercised.
Tommy, I see your sad face, and then I see your % loss, and say "GREAT JOB". You're on a roll. Everything about life is one day at a time. Keep the goal for your good health. You've proved that you can do it.

Hello Losers.
This was great and isn't over for me by any means. I just wish I hadn't encountered such a hard time with Christmas and all that it brings. Oh well, I've met some fantastic people by doing this to which I am grateful. When I weighed yesterday, my chart shows what I lost but that day made an enormous milestone for me. as well. That makes 100 pounds that I've dropped since August. I'm shocked by that number and thought I would have never seen it to be honest. Still have more to go but finally after all these years -suggest. Okay enough about me, tell me who the winner is and who I need to send my $50.00 check to with my sincere congratulations. Skinny bitches!!
Take care everybody.
T
PS. Craig, it's been a pleasure talking to you and getting to know such an awesome individual. I must say, I envy and admire your determination. , You are the man! Take care my friend.
