Jay, you are a rock star for creating this.  Thank you so very much.

When I started talking about joining in on REBiggest Loser a couple of days ago, I had no idea the support I would receive!

Joan Levine and I were inseperable in 7th grade.  We recently reconnected on Facebook and it has been wonderful catching up with her.  Well, as it turns out, she is a certified personal trainer and has offered to make my life miserable help me through this adventure for the next 2 months.

There is a workout room in my office (not my home office, my "away" office).  By "in my office" I mean on the same floor, literally 2 doors down.  I really have no excuse to not use it.  Actually, I don't know if I've ever even been in there.  My task today is to enter the gates of hell workout room and send Joan a picture of it.  I think I can handle this.

So, last night was my last supper.  I had mexican and it tasted so good along with the margarita margaritas.  I'm getting a late start, but hey, there's no rules here, right?  I'm now ready for the torture games to begin!

12/8/08 - very busy day today - out of the office most of the day on appts.  it's so tough eating on the go as the healthy choices are few and far between.  i have one of those plug in coolers for the car around somewhere....maybe I'll dig it up and try using it for once.  my husband is making mulled cider with spiced rum right now.  he has absolutely no idea that he is torturing me.

12/11/08 - I had a very bad week last week.  My uncle passed away unexpectedly, my car obtained some mysterious illness and totally locked up, I drove my other car into a ditch...just not a good week.  Monday, I started fresh and new on my new mission to lose the twin I've been carrying around on my arse and I was pumped.  I picked my 5 year old son up early from school yesterday and planned to go for a nice walk/bike ride with him since the weather was awesome.  On the way home, we were rear-ended by a drunk/drugged driver.  We were fine and actually, my car barely had any damage - but this woman was beligerent and was yelling at me telling me I backed into her.  It was obvious she was impaired so I got back in my car, locked the doors and called 911.  The dispatcher was great and stayed on the phone with me while this woman screamed at me through the window.  Even though I was physically fine, it shook me up.  I had a big glass of red wine last night - but I didn't eat for comfort.  Just had a glass of wine.  So, I suppose I did ok.  I also did not have any diet sodas yesterday.  I have been trying to kick the Diet Pepsi Max habit for about a year.  The headaches are torture and I cave every time.  Maybe this time I'll make it.  I've realized the addiction is so strong that I am adamant that my son never drinks soda.
