Dude, there's no hope for you, and I'll explain why: If you start exercising now you'll find that you gain muscle. And last I checked muscle weighed more than fat. So initially, while you may burn some fat, you are going to gain more than you lose. Thus you are hopeless, given this short time window. Those of us that already have a muscle or two, we are the ones with a fighting chance.

Also, did you know you need to burn 3500 more calories than you consume to lose 1 pound of fat? Yea...the math and science of losing fat is painful to think about...

I'm just here to talk smack about my body. More specifically, my muscles. I did 30 modified pushups in my health assessment at the gym Tuesday. Out performed my pears, off the charts. Guess what else was off the charts? My pain level since then. Even holding a mouse hurt. Went back to the gym yesterday and by the time I had to wear high heals to a party, had a little crampy muscle poo poo'ing my fun. I hope to get edumacated on how to best work this fitness thing. When I was younger, it was easy to jump in and out of routines. Apparently, I must now go to the gym's help desk and protect myself from ME!

I wanna whine a minute. I've been drinking 10-12 glasses of water everyday for over two weeks now and my lips are cracking!!! How is that possible?!?!??! LOL. The joys and pains. :-)

Fellow LOSERS, it's Tuesday, after the holidays, and it's time to get serious. With just a bit over 3 weeks left, we can each still lose a few pounds. I'm going for 205 (another 5 lbs below today), and I'm going to get there, dangit!
